Leave Nairobi at 8:00am drive through namanga boarder check in then proceed to Arusha further to moshi for Overnight in a hotel. 8 hrs drive
Drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate at Marangu for entry registration. Start the trek to Mandara hut through thick rain forest. Have packed lunch on the way. Dinner and retire for the day.
Ascend through moorland with packed lunch on the way and end the day’s hiking at Horombo hut.
Note: An extra day for acclimatization can be added by staying another night at Horombo hut. The day is spent on a hike to Mawenzi hut and back in the evening.
Walk up, across the saddle, to Kibo Hut. Dinner and rest till Midnight.
Midnight trek to the summit via Gilman’s Point. After a short period of photo taking at Uhuru peak, descend to Kibo Hut for breakfast. Continue down to Horombo Hut for the day’s and night’s rest.
Walk down to mandara then to the park gate catch your drive to hotel at Moshi for dinner and over night.
After break fast catch your drive for 8 hrs back home
